Easy Sunday

I kept today an easy day, just puttering around the house and doing some cleaning here and there. I spent some time playing on the computer and decided to try making an Avatar on Yahoo! They didn't have all the choices I would have made, but it was fun nonetheless!

Vacation

Hi - yes I booked myself on an Alaskan Cruise leaving from Seattle on June 1.

This will be about my 7th cruise since my first one in 1982. I really enjoy them and wish I could do them more often! The last one I took was Oct 2006, so I'm looking forwrd to this one!

Kitty Cat Friday

Here's a very different card for Kitty Cat Friday! Not a stamp to be found! I had some "kitty" embellishments and wondered what it would be like to try a card with just those! It's ok, but I think I like Stamping better - and next time I need to find a way to use the embellishments as embellishments, not the focal point!

Flutterby!

Here's my card for Danni's flutterby Wednesday. I wanted to do black and white - then wanted just a pop of color, so I colored theButterfly with red and orange, put a bit of orange fun flock just for fun, and voila! Flutterby card!

Flock!

Ami's challenge on Friday was to use Flock on a card! I had used flock at Easter so this was fun to do again. There's actually orange flock on the center of the daisy's and I covered the brad on the flower with flock as well. It was orange to begin with so this wasn't a big deal!

Kity Cat Friday!

Friday's are fun for obvious reasons - it's the start of the weekend! But now that I have Kitty Cat Friday, it also gives me that extra push to see just what I can come up with.

Here's this week's card. The bestest Bella Sistah Julie, sent me a whole box of cat related goodies this week - so of course I had to use them this week - and believe me, I didn't even make a dent in all the goodies she sent me!

Danni's Flutterby

It's Wednesday so that means time for

Danni's Fluterby Challenge! This scanned Picture is too dark, but I don't feel like getting out the camera! I used Nestabilities to cut the butterfly image from K&C Company - Butterfly embossed vellum 12 x 12 paper, then used the memory box Open butterfly for all the little butterflies, and lots of cats eye chalk ink, and a flower and gem stone from somewhere! Amuse purple rimmed ribbon.

Kitty Cat Friday!

Uh oh - here is is Friday again, and I didn't post anything since the last kitty cat Friday! I have to get back in to this. I promise I promise!

This week's kitty cat Friday card is the A Muse Smiling Cat - on Amuse note cards - with some green and blue scrap paper, and some blue Gingham ribbon to top it off. I colored with Copics, Prisma color and Marvy pens!
