Kitty Cat Friday!

Oh my - it's Friday again- where did the week go? It's Friday and I haven't posted all week - well, that's about to change! LOl

I did something a little different - no stamping or coloring! This is a Lasting Impressions Embossing Stencil! Turned out clean and crisp - on Amuse reverse asterisk card, with some left over gingham paper and a red A muse card, cut down!

Enjoy!

If it's Friday - it must be Kitty Cat day!

Hello

You didn't think I'd forget about Kitty Cat Friday did you? This is a very old stamp, probably my first cat stamp ever - it's from a company - Bayberry?
Paper is all just leftovers - but I did use Scor-Pal and scored some diagonals on the green card - not that you can see them, but it was fun anyway.

I colored the cats with Copics and they're colored like my cats- a calico and a grey tabby! Gee, it's not a self portrait, but it's a portrait of them.

Have a great weekend!

Bon Voyage

Both my sisters are going on vacation next week, one on a cruise and one to Spain, so I made a couple of Bella Cards that fit the occassion. They were fun to do and I like the colors I chose even if the finished card seems to be missing something!

Oh well, they'll like! The pics are digital photos and a little bright- I just couldn't get the scans to come out right - I think because of the embellishments in the corners. I think I need to find a 3rd option! LOL

Reminds, me, I need to get my passport renewed - only thing worse than a driver's license picture is a Passport picture! Ugh! :)

Kitty Cat Friday

Here is this week's Kitty Cat Card! Since St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, I decided to incorporate some Green into the card. This is a Cat's Pajamas stamp, (after all, aren't isn't your cat an angel?) just some paper I had hanging around! Stamped with Versafine Onyx ink, some Copic Green for the Necklace and Spica gold glitter pen for the Halo!

Also, check out the Signature I created for this blog! Now that was fun too!

Danni's flutterby challenge 2

Here's my card for Danni's flutterby challenge - it's an old inkadinkadoo stamp and I colored it with Twinkling H2O's. I haven't used them for a long time, so it was fun to use them again.

A little bit of everything card

This card was inspired by Danni at Danni's Dreams - I didn't have the cute bird set she does, so I used what I had - I like hers better!

The paper is Imaginisce For Peeps Sake, Tiptoe through the Tulips, all stamps are A Muse, Versamark Chalk ink, SU Chocolate Chip ink, Prisma color pens, Copic Bens - the branch and bird image was cut with the Marvy Uchida Giga Scalloped Rectangle squre, the beige was cut with the nestabilities rectangle, the lines were scored with Scor-Pal, and there are A Muse microdots on the corners spaces created by the ScorPal lines!

Whew!

Kitty Cat Friday!

Hi - here' this week's kitty cat card. I've never done a black and white card so this was fun to do. But of course, when it came down to it, I couldn't go with all black and white, I just HAD to add that little splash of color! :)

I can't read the name of the stamp company, the paper - it's a black and white pad I got on line - Meow is from a MFT stamp set! Not much more to it!

Enjoy!

Mom's Birthday Card

My mother's birthday is this week, so I got the card finished in time. I thought I had the card finished when I realized I hadn't stamped anything on it - can't have that - so I found the birthday wishes stamp from PaperTrey and the cupcake from Amuse clear stamps. The leaves are from a Martha Stewart pumch, the corner punches are SU, and the hummingbird is Hero Arts, and colored wtih Copics! I think that covers the whole thing!
The first card is a digital photo - and it really has better lighting, but the 2nd photo is scanned, and while it's alittle dark through the middle (top to bottom) it definitely shows the dimensions better, as the hummingbird is attached with pop dots so it is raised! Maybe I need to work on the scanner a bit and see if I can get that just a bit better!
Enjoy!

Regards

Is it Digital Photo or Scan? Blog Candy winner!

Hello

Last week I asked for your opinions on my digital photos vs scanned images! The first card in each set was a scan, the 2nd card in each set was a digital photo! and it's a toss up! Some like the scans better and some like the Digital Photos! aaaah!

The random winner of the blog candy is Catherine!

Thanks to all of you for your comments!
