Here it is Friday again! Yay! So that means a new Kitty Cat card! Here it is! This is one of my favorite Bella's - of course! and I just played around with some sketches and papers and here's what I came up with!

I appreciate all your comments on which of the pictures was better, digital camera or scanner! I'll give everyone another day to log a comment, just in case, and on Friday night I'll pick a name for some blog candy!

Opinions please!

I need your help! I tend to choose the easier way to do anything, if the results are ok. I generally will scan my photos to save on the computer. But of course, there is digital photography as well.

I have 3 sets of photos here - Take a look and leave a comment on whether the first or the 2nd photo of each of the different sets looks better! That will help me decide if I should stick to Scanning photos or do more digital photos!

Feel free to comment on the cards as well! THANKS!

Using OLD Stamps

There's a kind of challenge out on the Colorbox group - to use and OLD stamp. Well, I found one in my stash - I got it in 1993 -15 years ago! It's the Strawberry stamp! I even did it the way I was taught - to emboss - then color-
Another Old stamp, is the little girl - it's old and never been used before tonight! It was a lot of fun to do and the coloring was a great challenge!

Enjoy!

Kitty Cat Friday

I've seen several blogs with a Theme day- Mauve Monday, Take away Tuesday, Flower Friday and so on.

I haven't seen a Kitty Cat Friday - but I bet there is one out there, and I'm going to add to it.

Every Friday I'll post a card with a Cat theme! Tune in and let's see where it goes!

Here's the first card! It's a standard A Muse note card, with complimentary blue squares and the green A Muse ribbon picks up the green in the uper left hand corner, which is a little hard to see in the photo!
Enjoy!

This week's Amuse Addicts challenge is to incorporate "squiggles" in a card! This is a get well card for my nephew who was critically injured in a car crash last week when his patrol car was broadsided by a suspect. He's doing better and out of the hospital now, thanks to his wife being an RN. He's still pretty much house bound, but every day is a little more progress!

Hard week

We had quite a week this past week. My 25 year old nephew is a police officer and he and his patrol car were hit by a suspect going 90 mph with no headlights at about 11:30 PM Sunday night. My nephew was eventually ejected from his car and slid 15 feet down the pavement. He had no broken bones, or internal injury, but there was some head trauma. He was taken on a life lift helicopter to a regional trauma center - and first reports were not encouraging. However, he is being called the miracle man as his condition was upgraded from critical to fair by Monday afternoon, and he was able to go home on Weds afternoon, after begging the Dr.s to let him go. His wife is an RN and that was as much of the reason he was allowed to go home as anything. They initially thought he'd be in the hospital 10-12 days!! He still needs assistance to walk, gets dizzy if he's up too long, and has some memory problems, but the prognosis is good!

We were so very lucky!

Amuse Addicts Step up Challenge

The new Step up Challenge at Amuseaddicts.com was to create note cards AND a holder for them!

I came up with this - "Pursonality" plus - It came from a combination of something I saw at Michaels today and something in the A Muse weekly newsletter!

It's been a while!

Hi - yes, I'm still here, just a little on the busy side! I debated about posting the cards from the A Muse card class at Cranberry Hill, but I see others have, so I'm comfortable that it's ok. Tracy Falco is the great teacher for the Amuse classes as CH- and they are a lot of fun and soooo cute!
